This is a very small location only been there a few times the last time the guy was very helpful and gave some very insightful knowledgeable tips and ideas
Nice store. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable whenever I am looking for a specific item or if I'm not sure about what it is I need for a project that I'm trying to finish.

It appears that their progress is slowing down. My recent experience at Home Hardware in Keswick was less than satisfactory, as the information provided over the phone differed from what I received in the store. It is not the same as it once was.
My mom went into home hardware to get some logs and kindling to have fires in the fire place in the basement. My mom asks one of them for help were to find it. One of the staff told my mom which isle it was in and two young staff girls are still at the counter talking. What made my mom mad at them is that they didn’t offer to help with finding the isle and not offering to help with carrying the stuff to the register so she could pay. Next thing you know she gave them what for one of them started laughing at her that made my mom more annoyed next thing they give her a lame excuse saying they are short staffed when my mom was the only customer inside big mistake those two employees made. The logs were heavy for my mom to lift and they didn’t offer to help my mom by saying would you like help with carrying those logs out to your vehicle that got my mom more annoyed with them. And next thing she texts me to come inside to help her and so I did.
Been shopping for many years at our hardware store, always have excellent service..especially during this pandemic..grateful for all help with curbside service and special orders they have done for us over the years. This town is lucky we have this nice hardware store.?
Update: Sept. 10, 2025 They claim to provide paint colour matching. Don't bother. I wanted to do some touch ups and did not have the paint colour. Benjamin Moore was closed weekdays at 5pm. Went to Home Hardware and it was awful. Out of three people one was very good but the paint was too shiny. The other two staff did not care one bit and you could tell. For me it was very frustrating. I was just trying to touch up some fixed small holes. After three attempts and 3 purchases they all failed. I wasted my time and money. Look at my photo. Benjamin Moore match the first time on the left. Home Hardware three times on the right side. All failed. They need a better colour match machine or better trained staff to run the paint department. Previous review: Showed up in the parking lot too late on a Sunday recently and didn't realize they were closed but they had their phone number outside for curbside pick up. The staff was wonderful and quickly put my order together. Really appreciate that.
