Large park for picnicing and BBQs, decent sized beach front with playground for kids. Washrooms nearby, however not well maintained. Most sites have access to running water fountains, and lots of bench's around.
This place was great. The camp sites are huge. So many trees blocking the other sites really felt private. Yes you could hear the other campers. Park Wardens helped keep order. Some people dont know to respect others space. Some people made way to much noise past 2 am. Parents need to watch and control their kids. If they dont you can call the wardens. And they will keep the peace. It's a shame people were trying to cut down trees for fire wood. Really sad. Beautiful place to bring the whole family. We will be back. Cheap sites wood ice. Loved it. Park is huge.
Good beach and location. Lots of rocks and muddy water at shore. Long shelf at knee height for kids to walk into.
Nice place. Good swimming. No barbeque. No notice posted.
Genuine salt of the earth people. Full snack bar with hot and cold treats, fresh coffee and a warm smile. It can get busy at peak hours, so be patient. Its worth it!
