Had plans on coming here for dinner with my mother and was greeted by the owner running out to my vehicle to tell me I “parked in her parking spot”. She also had 2 large signs she taped to my vehicle stating “learn to read”. There were no legal signs stating I could not park where I did. I am disgusted that the owners of the restaurant were treating a returning customer with such disrespect, and on top of that felt comfortable enough to tape not one, but 2 large things to my vehicle. I used to come to this restaurant frequently for takeout a few years ago. What a shame I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone after being greeted in such a disgusting manner. Appalled at the interaction.
We’ve had such great experiences at Alfredo's Ristorante as a couple that it was a no-brainer to book it for our engagement party. The food is amazing, and the free bread they serve at the start is delicious. The variety of dishes and daily specials are always appealing, and the staff is friendly. However, we were really disappointed and somewhat embarrassed by how long everything took for our group of 10, that was booked under a reservation. We were there for almost 3 hours, and despite only ordering 3 appetizers (a salad and 2 bruschettas), it took at least 45 minutes for the meals to start coming out. They came out in pairs, so by the time the last few meals were served, some guests were already done eating. It became a long, drawn-out dinner that made the experience less enjoyable for everyone. The food is still great, but we wouldn’t recommend booking large reservations if they can’t properly accommodate them. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s a solid choice for a date night.
Had a reservation at 545pm did not receive my meal until 715pm, very disappointing experience. What’s even more disappointing is the failure to acknowledge long service wait times and instead calling your customers liars. Upon glance of other reviews it appears there is a negative reaction to any review that isn’t outstanding.
FOURTH UPDATE: I sincerely apologize for me and my family seemingly MIA from your fabulous Restaurant. Back in March, I had to have Emergency Surgery and that is the reason why you have not seen us as sadly, I literally have to watch what I eat now and can no longer enjoy some of my favorite foods but I will make a pact to come and visit soon with my Family and visit. :) I miss you guys THIRD UPDATE: I just cannot have enough of this wonderful Restaurant. The Owners are Tremendous and the Food is always Fresh and Amazing. I have lost count how many times we have been here. I would come at least once a week if I could. THANK YOU again for a tremendous meal :) SECOND UPDATE: Been back twice since my last review. Each time was PERFECTO!!!!! I think this is my all time Fave Restaurant now. I am boring as I keep ordering that to die for Gnocchi but I have tried other dishes too (Hubby and Friends) and LOVE them all. Pity I cannot order ALL the dishes ;) UPDATE since last visit. Went on Sunday, July 2 with just Hubby. I had the Gnocchi and Hubby had the Lasagna. WOWOWWWW DELCIOUS . I wish I could have it every single day, I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!! I have been to many many restaurants in my 58 years of existence in this world but I have NEVER had food as DELICIOUS as we had tonight at Alfredo's Ristorante. Husband and I celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary here and my Daughter and her Boyfriend took us here. All I can says is WOW. FABULOUS service, FABULOUS food, FABULOUS everything. Daughter knows that I am NOT an easy person to please but boy was I beyond pleased here. I will for sure be back. The Owner and his Wife who happens to be the Chef, took such great care of us and were very kind and professional in every way. The Chef even came out to ask how we liked our Meals. Liked? More like Loved. THANK YOU so much for a fabulous meal and we are for sure coming back soon. :)
What is the point of being able to message the restaurant via maps, only to be told......after multiple reservation booking questions.....that you have to call in anyways. Then you do call but get the voicemail, so you leave a message for someone to call you back. Except they never do. Great management? Should update your outgoing message to relect your business hours
Don't recommend this restaurant. You will be seated and forgotten about! Would of loved to tell you how the food was but after 20 mins of watching others get served that arrived after us we unfortunately walked out!
If I could give this TEN stars I would. This food is SOOOOO good. Went last night for the Pork Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce AND the Veal chop with raspberry balsamic reduction to DIE for. Did not expect the pork to be SO good, husband would NOT share, so I went right up to the counter and ordered ANOTHER dinner TAKE OUT. enjoyed that today for lunch lol. Man, going back friday for sure!!! I have been here to sit in and eat 3 times, and 3 take outs. The food gets better each time I buy. The best was an order of Gorgonzola Polenta, SO good, I made them make me an entire take out tray of it. Mouth watering, gotta go eat my left overs from today. I hope they stay open for another 15 years. By far the best restaurant in keswick, and I have been to them all Maryann
