my family and I went here for lunch after the beach. As soon as we walked in, the place smelled strongly of old oil; not thinking much about it, we sat down and ordered our food. It came out; the chips were hard and dry. My mom's calamari batter was raw, and my fish batter was also raw. We told the girl working at the counter and asked if she would like to come see, which she never did; all we got was a sorry, and we heard a guy complaining in the back about us. poor customer service. Everything was overly greasy and also smelled of old oil. Also $100 worth of food was wasted; it didn't help that the salt shaker had a hair in it.
The food is fabulous. Best place for fish and chips in keswick. Only downer is numerous times had to wait till after noon for it to open when it says noon.
Came here during Canada Day and enjoyed the lunch special. Kelvin was amazing! We ate inside and were provided amazing service! To top it off, the food was on point - exactly what I wanted when I think fish and chips: thick crispy fries, big fried fish. Highly recommend, portion size was great (took the rest to eat later). And again Kelvin sold me with his customer service ?
They are really good, but unfortunately lost our business because they took off their family specials. I have to feed 5 people and I'm not spending $20 per plate while every other fish and chip place has family packs still. If they bring back the family packs, we will come back and I will give them their stars back.
Halibut & Greek salad is amazing! The fish tastes fresh and moist! The Greek salad was delicious and loaded with feta!! I was very impressed!! I could not finish it all! Second meal for later! Less than $20 for single person. Staff is very pleasant also!
