Our team recently attended an in-person training session with K9 Grassroots, and it was an incredibly valuable and informative experience. As someone who has had dogs my entire life—and with several team members who are also experienced dog owners—we were surprised by how much we still learned. The session provided practical, hands-on knowledge that directly applies to front-line work in Community Safety, Policing, and similar public-facing roles. The facilitators were engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about improving safety and awareness when working around dogs. Taylor from Grassroots is amazing! She's been helping me with my dog who has had some issues with reactivity since the passing of our other dog. Taylor is extremely informative and helpful and after just a few lessons I am seeing a great improvement in Marley! I highly recommend using Grassroots for any training or boarding needs you may have.

We attended Camp Canine in Newmarket, which was lead by Taylor S., and give her five stars! The classes used real life distractions, were upbeat, and Taylor provided one on one suggestions when appropriate.

We started taking our sweet, incredibly nervous, German shepherd puppy to Holly at Grassroots k9 Georgina when she was about 4 months old. Holly was incredible off the hop by coming to our house to meet our pup, assess her, and recommend her training plan. Since then we have utilized almost every option grassroots K9 Georgina offers, and our girl has made amazing strides. All of Holly’s staff we encounter are professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about working with dogs to improve their lives. We love the day train program, which allows us to drop Tula off for the day, and know that she is getting excellent and consistent care. She comes home fulfilled, tired, and happy from a full day of training. I would highly recommend Grassroots K9 to anyone looking for a dog trainer. Investing in our dogs training is the absolute best way to ensure they have a happy and healthy life with us.
