Jan at Custom Sewing did an amazing job altering my mother-in-law’s wedding dress into my rehearsal dinner dress! She is so sweet, and you can tell how much care and attention to detail she puts into her work. The dress turned out absolutely perfect, and her price was very fair for such high-quality, thoughtful alterations. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend her to anyone needing custom alterations.
Jan took the wedding dress I already loved and turned it into my dream! I found a dress on consignment that just needed a few tweaks to make it perfect. I shopped around for alterations. One place quoted me at $800!!!!!!!!!!!! (the dress was bought for $250 on consignment). Jan was by far the most reasonable and just generally personable and trustworthy. She is passionate at what she does and loves her bridal alterations. I love what she did with my dress and am 100% referring anyone else to her! I'm also going back to get bridesmaid dresses altered. Jan is incredibly talented! She has altered a few things for me over the years (mostly dresses) but most recently she did the alterations to my wedding dress! She is very accommodating and works with your schedule. She does a phenomenal job and she won’t disappoint you. I highly recommend her to anyone!
This woman brings a brand new meaning to the word alterations. Work is very professional and Jan is most accommodating. She did my granddaughter's wedding gown, mother of the bride dress, and the matron of honours dress. Fabulous job on everything and she made it all stress free.
